Reel Grrls Mentors: Now Accepting Applications for 2010 Programs
We are now accepting applications for new and returning Reel Grrls mentors for Reel Grrls Television, our Winter Break Animation Camp, and our Spring Break Music Video Camp. Please visit our Registration Page to apply. If you have mentored with Reel Grrls before, use the Returning Mentors application. If this is your first program with Reel Grrls, use the New Mentor Application Form.
RGTV: Reel Grrls Television 2010

Reel Grrls is partnering with SCAN Youth Media to create a grrl-produced television and web series. Open to all video production levels!
Choose interesting topics, learn television production, broadcast your opinions!

FAMILY ORIENTATION January 19, 6:00 PM at Reel Grrls
Location: Reel Grrls New Media Lab in Seattle's Central District, 1409 21st Ave, Seattle WA 98122 and on the above-listed Saturdays at SCAN: 1125 N 98th St, Seattle
Ages: Open to young women ages 13 - 19
Cost: $300 or pay what you can. No participants turned away due to lack of funds.

Mid-Winter Break Animation Camp
February 15 - 19, 2010
Open to beginning and advanced animators! Learn new animation skills and styles from professional women animators. Explore different styles of animation and complete a short animated film in an all-girl non-competitive environment. Get hands-on experience with state of the art technology and support from adult women mentors.

What is a Video Blog?
A video blog (also known as a VLOG) is a video essay or video journal that mediamakers post online in order to share their thoughts and perspectives on issues with others.
