This festival darling by first-time filmmaker Nicole was created in the Reel Grrls Spring Program. It is a deeply moving story about Nicole's experiences as a homeless teen, and her longing for a family connection. The film won the Family & Society Award at the 2005 Media that Matters Film Festival. Nicole traveled to New York for the festival, leaving Washington State for the first time.
